Brenda received her BS from Texas State University and her MA from the University of Manitoba, Canada.  Her interests are in health and healthcare in local and global contexts, community service, and social activism.  She is especially interested in issues, policies, and programs concerning health equity and justice, poverty reduction, environmental sustainabilty, international/local development in under-served communities, and social/economic initiatives for the health and well-being of women/children.
